When a person enters an amusement park, he/she may see all kinds of entertainment equipment and facilities such as a Ferris wheel and carousel. For this equipment, the key function is to maintain a reliable 360-degree rotation as well as the need to transmit other signals. Consequently, slip rings are essential in entertainment equipment. Take a carousel, for example, where a slip ring is installed to provide drive to the turntable. However, this is not enough. In addition to the rotating platform, to create a joyful atmosphere, the lights flash to a tune according to a set programme. In other words, in addition to driving the platform, the rotating component is also expected to transmit signals. JINPAT Electronics offers contact rings that can do both.
The recommended models are LPT through-hole slip ring slip rings: LPT038 / LPT050 / LPT60 / LPT120. JINPAT through-hole slip ring uses fibre brush technology, which contributes to its low contact resistance and low friction. Consequently, with smoother rotation, the JINPAT slip ring is more stable during operation and has a longer service life. By providing continuous transmission of analogue or data signals with 360° rotation, compatible with data bus protocol, JINPAT slip rings compare favourably with their analogues.
