NATO is currently conducting Exercise Defender of the Nation 2024, one of the largest exercises since the end of the Cold War, to test NATO’s rapid deployment capabilities and new defense plans. The exercise involves some 90,000 participants spread across several European and Nordic countries, demonstrating NATO’s ability and readiness to respond to multiple threats. At the same time, the demand for relevant equipment in the Middle East is also increasing significantly. Significant increases in related spending in countries such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar have increased demand for advanced systems and technology. Cooperation between Middle Eastern countries and major suppliers continues to strengthen, especially in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles and missile systems.
On the modern battlefield, miniaturized unmanned aerial vehicle systems have demonstrated amazing survivability in specific combat scenarios. They can maximize casualty reduction through a combination of situational awareness and weapon systems. In these systems, slip rings serve as a critical component to rotate and transmit power and signals, supporting optoelectronic or wireless devices for 360-degree environmental information without blind spots.
The photoelectric balloon is a common situation awareness device on these unmanned remote control devices, and all unrestricted photoelectric balloons are equipped with an integrated pivot for high-definition video signal transmission. JINPAT has made many efforts in the field of slip rings for high-definition video signal integration, and independently developed a series of typical products for high-definition optoelectronic terminal equipment. At present, there has been a breakthrough in the development technology of multi-channel high-definition video signal integrated into JINPAT’s photoelectric ball and contact ring for monitoring camera.
JINPAT’s LPC1C series standard products are specially designed for this purpose. This series of products consists of two standard slip rings, LPC-T and LPCC, which not only allow large quantities to be produced, but also have the advantage of low cost to meet the needs of small-scale unmanned equipment warfare in an intensive combat environment. Similarly, after replacing the high-frequency slip rings with 50 ohm impedance devices, standard JINPAT series devices can support devices with peak power up to 1 kW, making them small radar slip rings for unmanned equipment.
When a JINPAT slip ring cannot meet the requirements of this small unmanned equipment, JINPAT offers a large number of thoughtful customized solutions to solve the conductivity problem of 360 degree rotating sensors.
