Military photoelectronic dome camera as a 360 degree rotating security sensor device is an important detection method and is widely used in various platforms. Most military dome cameras are unrestricted and require slip rings to provide constant 360 degree circular signaling and power. A high-end dome camera is usually equipped with a high-resolution white light camera and an infrared camera. Some are also integrated with optical devices such as laser rangefinder equipment.

As the number of channels increases, the slip ring becomes more complex and versatile. The complexity of the layout of power and signal channels poses great challenges for the slip ring, especially in terms of its noise immunity. By now, slip rings for high-end electro-optic dome camera have achieved the ability to support single-channel or multi-channel high-definition signal transmission ≥1080p, which is quite challenging. JINPAT’s slip rings can combine ≥3 channels of 1080p signal transmission with excellent noise immunity and no housing loss.
